South 71 Trucking is a local carrier truck company located in Kansas City, MO. It was founded by Kevin D. Bowman in 2006, for the purpose of providing dump truck hauling services for commercial and government purposes.
Having learned the trade from family members, Kevin took those lessons and started his own business based on principles of quality, customer service, punctuality and effective communications.
South 71 Trucking employs 7 truck drivers and operates a company fleet of 7 vehicles. South 71 Trucking’s commercial over-the-road transportation services may include specialized, flatbed, or heavy haul driving. Six of South 71 Trucking’s trucks include auxiliary power units.
During its fourteen years in operation, South 71 Trucking has landed Sub/Hauler contracts with Beemer Construction, to move their spoils; WSD 8930 WR, WSD 9259 Pipeline SUPPL WFTM and WSD 9237 36 inch WME to name a few.

Not content with contracts alone, Kevin has also completed the Ewing Marion Kauffman FastTrac™ Growth Venture course and has also the MoDOT Advanced Contractor Training Program. Kevin is committed to better structuring South 71 Trucking company for future growth so he also attended and completed the KC Strategic Program seeking to partnership with the KCI Edgemoor Clark Weitz Clarkson project for the new MCI Airport terminals.
Projects with Beemer Construction Company and the City of Kansas City have been keeping this strong contributor busy.
